Pampers Baby Dry Pants for happy mornings

"She is sleeping like a baby"  they say that whenever a patient is on the recovery path and that phrase reassures the relatives , because sleeping like a baby means sleeping a sound sleep with no disturbances no turmoil a carefree sleep BUT what if the baby herself is unable to sleep like a baby ?what if the baby does not get ample sleep,  is constantly disturbed at night , has to get up frequently to get her nappies changed ,Result she is finicky ,cribbing, irritated, groggy and absolutely unmanageable and this  takes a load on her health ,her growth is marred .

Sleep is one very important factor contributing to  a babies growth it is as important as proper and nutritious diet.
There are two very important facts that relate sleep to a babies physical and emotional health  A baby grows in height during the period he/she sleeps ., this has been proved through studies .

.Another simple truth is that the  mind relaxes during sleep .and the baby  wakes up rejuvenated .

This precisely is the reason why all over the world in every language , every country we have what they call  LULLABIES every mother sings lullabies to her child .  So that  the baby relaxes and snoozes off listening to the rhythmic sound of music .It is almost like a ritual for babies all over the world "to have a lullaby sung by the mother , or nanny or whoever be the person in charge " Its the same for my baby too She has a vast collection to chose from and I am her CD to be switched on and off at her behest.

Come bedtime and after a warm-water sponge-wash and a soothing massage ( I don't actually give her a massage at bedtime I just apply some olive oil to her limbs massage is a pre-bath ritual) I  tuck her into diapers my brand being "Pampers Bay Dry pants" and then  both of us cuddle into the  bed  .  I ask her "Kaun sa gaanaa gaaoo  or kaun sa gaanaa sunegi ? (which song  should I sing Or which song  do you want to hear)" and then I start off all the famous hindi film lullabies  "Dhire se aja re ankhiyan mei"  she says" no"  to it  , then I shift to "meri rani beti bhoojhe ek paheli" again its a "no" then follow a few more with rejections and finally its "  Nanhi Pari soney chali"   and  YES  this is always the one she settles for . The effect of the previous lyrical interactions together with this her favourite one sends her off to dreamland almost immediately . Then I close the door and walk out where everyone is sitting with bated breath.  On seeing me come out everyone relaxes and life gets back to normal .  But still everyone is careful not to laugh loudly or not to increase the volume of the TV  .
We are so careful not to disturb a babies sleep , we see to it that no sound is made which will disturb a sleeping baby .Phones and doorbells are put on the silent mode  so that no noise reaches the sleeping baby's ears Even the most difficult of husbands and in-laws oblige where the cause is their babies sleep .

BUT there is one enemy , one inconsiderate friend "The call of Nature" . The urge to pass urine or even to pass stool .Now I call this both an enemy and a friend because though it disturbs the babies sleep acting like an enemy ;  it is also an important biological function so important for the babies health .
Every mother finds it  a  Herculean task to keep the baby dry and comfortable at night --every baby passes urine during the night and this not only disturbs his/her sleep it also causes the danger of the baby catching cold due to exposure  to wetness  for long..

This is a universal problem and this is where  after much research companies decided to bring out nappies which would help the child remain dry by absorbing the urine.  One of the best brands for this product is the New Pampers Baby Dry Pants it not only keeps the baby dry on the outside it also takes care of the inside too . This is mainly because of  the magic gel  layer which absorbs up  to five glasses of liquid all throughout the night . Not only this,  Pampers Baby Dry Pants also has baby lotion which keeps the baby's skin soft and moisturised and protect it from rashes  --and she/he is happy and rejuvenated after a good nights sleep,, all set to bring smiles into the family's life.

Me and My Limo

Aah !! to be befikar umar bhar -,  isn't that everyone's dream?  --and   its , mine  too.

But is it possible?

The moment you take birth worries start attacking you. The first thing a baby of 30 mts worries about is
Will I  get to drink any milk ?  or has medical science discovered some more  reasons to keep me away from being fed?  Some say the first drop of mothers milk is poison while some say no it is the first step towards  the road  to immunization. But result is my parents are  in doll drums while  I am hungry  and almost dead.

Then be it summer or be it winter be  or be it rains  no water for me for six months -whereas my predecessors had, had the doctors hammer into their parents head  that water is a must .

Then comes the honey part when in the womb the child had heard so much about honey that he/she is really apprehensive "To eat or not to eat" should  I  eat the honey or not whereas my  predecessors had a mouthful of honey everyday . So its worries worries worries  all the time  its like "Kya karein kya na karein" .

Then comes the time for vaccinations and innoculations God  !! how many more ??? won't I ever have the pleasure of experiencing  the fun of  getting the common cold ? of drinking  ginger tea  and warm mustard oil   massage , of inhaling eucalyptus oil ----won't I ever have the privilege of my mother rubbing  vaporub on my chest and back, and tucking me under blankets and kissing me goodnight OR the other alternative of my wife  rubbing vaporub on my   chest and cuddling beside me  to keep me  warm ( this thought for the  male child only ) or the considerate hubby taking leave from office to look after me( this is from the female child)

Then its time to begin your studies and I need not explain the amount of FIKAR one has to face in those 12 years of ones life till you get through your 12th standard  apart from studies there is the fikar of getting selected in the school cricket or football team , of getting a place in the school choir --there is the fikar of  having to face  the disdain in the eyes of ones own parents and also in those of the more successful cousins .

After this the fikar of getting through  competetive exams , securing a job getting married , having to please your spouse the worries of bringing up your children of giving them the best and then the uncertainties of looking after your parents and the most important 'securing' your own future BECAUSE you know how difficult it was for you to look after your aged parents and you either don't want to burden your children with the same agony or you don't trust them .

So you spend the whole of your life SAVING for all these wet days ,your child's future and your's too . You don't go for vacations , you make do with a second hand car , you don't buy an AC you don't go to multiplexes and malls One TV is enough for the whole family why buy LED T.V an ordinary one serves  the same purpose etc etc etc

So this is where a good insurance policy comes in with a helping hand and the latest in this list is the "IDBI FEDERAL lifesurance whole life "who have a beautiful and tempting plan very helpful and hassle free . It is actually a Befikar Umar Bhar plan .

With this kind of insurance I would fulfil all my dreams specially the five which I crave for --

The first would be a beautiful limousine

Then a bunglow with a portico for the limo  after all I should have a house to match the limo .A well furnished house with LED TV the big screen ones

Then beautiful clothes --to make me look worthy of sitting in the limo

Then a chauffeur for the limo ---a limo needs a driver, owner's don't drive them

And finally I would go for long vacations by road ,no train or  plane for me Its me and my LIMO .

Now that's what I call being "Befikar Umar Bhar " and what better way than going along with

<br />

This video is a must watch if you want to understand what the Insurance Plan is and like Mukeshji you too will see your wiser self advice you to go in for the Lifesurance Whole Life Plan and what benefits and perks await you in your future.

Rakta Beej

Pimples are small skin lesions or inflammations of the skin - they are sebaceous glands (oil glands) which are infected with bacteria, swell up, and then fill up with pus. Pimples are also known as spots or zits. Pimples occur when the sebaceous glands, which are located at the base of hair follicles, become overactive.

The above words are of course the scientific reasons for pimples to grow BUT let me tell you some grandmothers tales about pimples ---Pimples, they said, occurred if the person was bad charactered ---now that gave us the scare as none of us cousins and friends wanted to go about with a placard denouncing our character SO we used to read all articles every where and anywhere which would tell us about remedies just so whatever evil thoughts crossed our minds at least they wouldn't be shown on our face . And the one who had these pimples went about like a criminal hiding her face and sometimes if the culprit  was foolish enough to prick her pimple for fear or shame of it being noticed by the public  ----she was rewarded with a crop of pimples  something like the demon Raktabeej in the Ramanaya whose one drop of blood if it fell on the ground gave birth to another version of his self . Rakta meaning blood and beej meaning seed .

And these pimples are actually Rakta beejes . WHY ? Because    when you puncture the pimples  a liquid similar to puss (the gunk) oozes out and when it splatters and lands inside other pores the bacteria present in it   gives birth to more pimples . So the puss or gunk or liquid can be assumed to be Rakt and the bacteria the beej .

Thankfully I was one of those --who was certified by God himself that riding  pillion with Dharmendra and Amitabh Bachchan and   with Jetendra and Shammi Kapoor and Rock Hudson and Tony Curtis in my dreams was not being bad charactered .

Well Jokes apart.

What we call the pustule  or the outer covering  is actually keeping the bacteria nice and contained,..There's another risk. By  poking  at , pricking , or  prodding  a pimple we disturb them and push  the debris and bacteria to go  deeper into the skin.and become prominent and permanent scars.  new kinds of bacteria from your finger may enter  the zit. and cause  the pimple to become more red, inflamed, swollen and infected.

But like always God through his trusted and beloved creation NATURE has provided us with a remedy for this ill too .

Its called NEEM .In ayurvedic text neem has been regarded as the 'sarva roga nivarini' as it keeps all the diseases at bay. Since ages neem has been used to cure almost all kinds of diseases and also taken to maintain a healthy life. Every part of neem such as bark, seed oil, leaf, roots has ayurvedic properties and hence used in therapeutic preparations

In Ayurveda literature, neem is regarded as twacha rasayana - an excellent herb for skin. Dry, irritated and skin problems can be cured with neem very effectively

I remember my brother when he was in school was very prone to getting small boils on his legs during the rains --he would play football etc in the rain and with mosquito bites etc small boils used to cover his legs My granny when she came to visit us suggested that they be washed with water in which neem leaves were boiled --and hey presto it worked the boils dried up in a few days he continued his neem water baths and never did those boils trouble him again .---And  after all pimples are a kind of boils aren't they?

I have seen people fight pimples with neem paste etc but then here they have a risk of the paste which is prepared at home being unhygienic ---So I would advise that they use something like Garnier Pure Active Neem Face wash which is prepared by the trusted name

of Garnier beauty care products .
Neem Face Wash - Product Image .
And as rightly claimed by them

!) It Washes away problem causing germs.
2) Fights Pollution: deep cleans pores to remove impurities caused by pollution.
3) Removes Oil: Washes away excess oil which attracts dirt & germs.

I can vouch for this because  the daughter of a friend of mine has used this and we have all seen the visible results thankfully she belongs to the generation who does not believe that pimples are a character certificate ----BUT yes they do believe  that pimples may be and are

1.) caused  due to problem causing germs
2.) Pollution and impurities caused due to pollution ......
and
 3) unhealthy eating habits eg oily food which produces excessive oil in  the body and skin .

What I would choose

If asked to choose between.......

The Sleek and Powerful ASUS EeeBook X205TA or the Ultra-Portable and Perpetually connected ASUS All In One PC ET2040?

I would definitely prefer the E book in comparison to PC ET. First and the foremost reason being that the , weight of the two devices  varies  considerably. The Eee  book weighs just about 1 kg . This makes it more portable and carriable than the other product. You can even carry it to your place of work, movie theatre, or just anywhere without adding too much to your baggage .It is easy to carry and operate  anywhere  and almost everywhere because it is light. The other device is definitely heavier ( 4.3 kgs ) if you might sometimes want to take it out with you.

Secondly , battery back up has been provided with the Eee book where as as far as I know PC ET needs power supply ,  no battery back up has been provided with the PC ET. This again adds to the advantages of the  Eee book i.e. its portability , carriability  becoming easier . You can use the device for almost 38  hours without having to connect the charger. Definitely makes the Eee book more desirable.

Eee book  is available in a good range of colours , you can choose according to your taste and personality thus accenuating your   style factor. It has a sleek , slim body with different colours to choose , this makes it definitely more desirable in  today's world where everyone from kids , to adults ( men and women ), to elderly are more and more style and fashion conscious.

As regards the other features the Eee book does not lag behind  the PC ET in any feature ; be it the software , or the memory , the sound system , graphics etc.

Only added feature in the PC which might make it more appealing to some is the touch screen which the Eee book does not have , but which actually does not make much of a difference to me and to many others  like me ,  considering the many other advantages that it carries.

It ( the Eee book) has been provided with a web cam , headphones which allow you to connect with your friends and loved ones any and everywhere. Windows 8.1 allows you to even make a presentation while waiting for the local  train  ,  in the waiting room , or on the platform  itself .

Or simply  complete your   pending work .

With all these features I am definitely going to opt for the Eee book . It sure has an edge over the PC ET not just in  my lifestyle but also for many many more people with or without  my kind of life.

As regards my personal lifestyle , I happen to be a resident in a Cardiac  ICU   and have shift duties with two night duties in a week .  I am also preparing for my final year exams for a post graduate medical course. I have kids who are also studying and who need a lot of guidance from me when I am at home and even when I am at work . Eee book would definitely make life a lot easier for me. I could download my books in the Eee book take to the hospital where I could read when the hours are not so busy while I am monitoring the patients . I could connect with kids at home chat with them and even guide them with  their homework, school projects etc.  Paying bills, shopping on-line  etc everything would be a lot easier for me with the Eee book which I would be using at home as well as in the hospital . It suits my lifestyle just perfect . After a while I might even consider  buying another one for my teenage son who would be preparing for his entrance exams and would need something like this for himself ( something which he could carry to his coaching classes as well as use at home.).

The price too is low and makes the  Eee book more easily affordable though that is not as important as the features ---which are not lacking in any way .

MERA BHARAT MAHAN

With Bunty and Bubly on the run to avoid police and family they both came across  a lot of idiosyncracies of the people of --MERA BHARAT MAHAN .

Tired and Hagard they had just put foot inside a  restaurant for a cup of tea  when they heard the police siren and  immediatly  took a 360 degrees turnaround Bunty pushed Bubly behind the compound wall of the restaurant and said,

" Don't even Breathe they may hear us "

Then he went and somehow crouched behind the gate keepers shed of a  clubhouse  a posh one the kind where they don't allow people without a dresscode  etc and waited with bated breath for the police patrol to pass when he saw  two men  get down from a limousine  from their talks he gathered that they were a certain Mr P and a certain Mr K  and they were talking about a recent foreign trip made by  Mr P

"How was your trip to Singapur P. Sahab did you enjoy ? How was the place ?"

"Arre kya bataye K. Sahab Ye foreign countries na!!  dil khussh kar dete hai ---I don't know when will India become like that so neat and clean "

and ....phichch a shower of  paan stained sputum came flying from his lips to land on Bunty's shirt sleeve

"Han haan maine bhi suna hai They levy a fine if you are caught spitting " aargh kh kh and he cleared his throat  letting a lot of phlegm  land just in front of Bunty then he  wiped his lips on the back of his shirt sleeve  .

The guard clicked his heels and saluted them both before opening the door for them to go in .

The police patrol having gone away both Bunty and Bubly came out of their hiding place

"Phew  that was narrow ....and you really did a good job you must have really held your breath because I saw The police men walking from very near your hide out "  and Bunty patted Bubly's back

"Itna tareef karne ki koyee jarorat nahi ... the stench of urine from those walls was so terrible that my breath held itself . ......."you men  can't you wait to go to the toilet jaha chance mila bas you relieve yourself --chhi ---by the way where did you hide? and you can remove that hand from my back ?"

"hmm..".and Bunty decided not to disclose his experiences for fear of more rebuke by Bubly

"Come come run lest we are caught " he said dragging her .

"BUNTYYYYY..." shouted Bubly   and she started crying

"Whats it ? "Bunty was furious

"Yuk poor you"  this as he saw her feet nicely covered with human excreta that of a child's Babli refused to walk until her feet were cleaned ,she just threw away her shoes , Bunty said what if the police dogs will smell her from the shoes but then he just laughed, not to worry all that shit will nicely cover up her smell for the dogs to catch her .

And all this filth and muck in the city's posh area .!!!!!

Just then they saw a couple walk out of the club and the man blew his nose throwing the scum on the road and wiping his fingers on the gate post.

"Darling don't do that don't you have some civic sense" said his partner as she threw her chocolate wrapper on the ground ..

They gave the gate keeper a five hundred rupee note as they drove away in their shining black chauffeur driven car but not before the lady grumbled about the kids littering in the car and admonishing the driver for not cleaning the litter.
"These schools they just don't teach the children any good habits I will have to complain to the principal"  and  she threw away a soft drink can from inside the car..

Both Bunty and Bubly  smiled sarcastically and embarked on their run . They could here the police men swearing using the choicest two letter, three letter and four letter words .

But they both picked up the 'wrapper' and the 'can' and thought that  they would throw it into some dustbin when suddenly they saw a garbage dump and proceeded to throw the stuff there But lo and behold it was not a garbage dump it was a park where the people had , had a picnic and had walked away leaving all the trash .

Sad at the state of affairs both of them continued their run because not only the police but also their parents were on their hunt and the police was not half as scary as the respective set of parents .

They decided to take a turn from the normal busy route and to go and hide some where on the banks of the Ganga amidst the  pristine surroundings BUT what a sight greeted them on the banks of the most pious river the revered mother Ganges the place of pilgrimage with so many temples around.

if this is the plight of  holy places then help  me Lord Both of them were so disgusted that they decided to go back to the village they belonged to and work at making people change their habits .

Sach mein Kitna chain hota hai na sachchai mein !!!

Why do we lie? ---We lie because we are afraid and aware of our own shortcomings . We are ashamed of our faults and behaviour .

In other words we are ashamed of ourselves --we want to hide our personality from others . Yes this is the truth --that -- WE are ASHAMED  of OURSELVES .

I know this statement is not acceptable to  you or to anyone. It has hurt you just as it  hurt me when I was made aware of this fact . Who do you think told me this stark truth "My mother " Because mothers are those who tell us about all the TRUTHS of life ,  they know how to wrap them up in layers of love and tell us in such a way that we not only accept them but also learn and start believing and become better persons in the process.

This was when I was very small must have been ten or twelve  and had a tutor who used to come every evening and teach me for two  hours he used to help me do my home work and prepare for the next days lessons to be taught in class.

It so happened  that one day my parents had to go to a relatives place and were supposed to come very late so they did  not take me with them I was left behind in the guardianship of my Grandmother   and two of my college going uncles who were like friends to me . Now it so happened that when the teacher came that evening I locked the front door from outside and went and hid myself . When Mr Das ( my teacher ) saw the door locked from out side he went back thinking that no  one was at home.

Having fooled him and with no tutions  I had a great time playing the whole evening .

When my parents came back at night I told them I would not be going to school the next day as my homework was incomplete My dad asked me the reason of my incomplete homework and  that hadn't I told Mr Das about it ?--I said he had not come that day

So here was my second victory no tuitions and no school the next day HURRAH.

But that night I could not sleep a wink, I had nightmares of Mr Das coming and telling my parents that he had come and found the house locked , the next morning too I felt as if I was a thief  I kept on looking at my granny and the two uncles --had they seen me lock the door? ,  had they seen me play the prank ? were they aware of what I had done ? I had visions of them giving me knowing glances , I even saw them smile sarcastically  and the servants !! God  why was he going into my dad's room ? is he spilling the beans ? has he told dad about what I had done !!!! No how can he. He  hadn't seen anything .... But suppose he had seen , then ?  I would look at my dad's face whenever he crossed me Does he know ? If he called me for some work I imagined he was calling me to punish me .

Gosh.. those torturous moments ----they spread out and gulped the whole 24 hours ----every second had me breathing hard , avoiding people not being able to eat or play or enjoy my off from school .

My mother sensed  something to be the matter ----she called me asked me why I was so tensed ? why was I acting the way I was ----and I wrapped my hands around her put my face in the folds of her sari and began sobbing She was so disturbed she put her arms around me wiped my tears and asked me what the matter was .I told her everything amidst sobs she din't say a word only asked me to go and tell dad the whole story ----I went to him and started crying he asked me what the matter  was mom said I wanted to tell him something , and she left the room , leaving the two of us alone .

I was sobbing uncontrollably and somehow confessed the whole situation --he didn't say anything just patted my back and asked me never ever to lie  again .I went back to mom  she asked me if I would like to eat something as I hadn't eaten the whole day I said no .Just then my granny asked me what the matter was ? was I not well ? Oh!  so she did not know anything ?!!! that means no one had seen anything .Thank God .

I went to my room and lay down on the bed somehow I was feeling much relieved and sleep overcame me . Late at night I saw mother lying beside me and kissing my forehead. I looked at her She asked me how was I feeling I said much better then she told me all that which I have narrated in the first paragraph and asked me if I had understood those words I nodded my head and asked her for forgiveness She said no pleas were needed and everyone makes mistakes of this kind but I should now learn a lesson and never  lie in future I promised her the same and asked her if dad was angry She said no, in fact he was proud of me for having the courage to go and confess to them .

I WAS SO HAPPY AND RELIEVED  ---and at that unearthly hour I asked my mom for something to eat ; and when we both sat at the dining table she looked  at me, gobbling   all the food and remarked

Kitna chain hota hai na sachchai mein   !!!

Pre marital sex YES or NO

"Pre marital sex ---your YES or NO  to it" is the topic and my Answer is TO  EACH HIS/HEROWN

BECAUSE Its no longer a question based on morality or decency it is a matter of personal choice --the criteria to be brought into consideration is no longer the right or wrong but its what you think of it --everything is right and everything is wrong when the judge is your own view point .

Just as some people think medicines are the best way to treat  lifestyle  diseases like diabetes and cardiac problems while some advocate change in lifestyle be the actual cure BOTH are right as far as their abilities to follow a certain regime are the deciding factor .

Similarly SEX pre marital or extra marital or even current marital( I say this because there are cases of rape in marital relations too) depends on what the concerned parties think about it.

We in Indian society have always shied away from discussing this topic. Sex has always been a taboo for us --why !! even married couples are not expected to show their affection  we act as if babies are really brought by the stork and no physical or biological activity is responsible for it .

So  pre marital sex is really a debatable topic ---I personally feel that SEX as in a relationship between a man and a woman is and should be an off shoot of LOVE sex gives pleasure and satisfaction only when love is involved ----sex is a divine act,  a need , it is a precious gift to us it should not be made Carnal . It involves the act of giving, both by women and men .It involves making oneself  vulnerable and this should be done only when love and trust and faith are there .

Virginity is a precious gift which should be offered to him or her who loves you or whom you love Yes I say this for both men and women Because sex is not to be  squandered  it is to be savoured and enjoyed .and worshipped and this is possible only when you offer it to him/her whom you love .It is a new feeling which comes to humans on maturity it involves and gives  a lot of fine meanings to life.

I am sure even those people, men and women . girls and boys who have had many sexual experiences must have found the difference between that episode which was with the person whom they loved than with so many other multiple partners .

Coming to the actual topic about Premarital sex  I would discourage it because pre-marital sex even if it is with the person you are to marry --is done stealthily with a feeling of guilt which persists till the date you  finally tie the nuptial knot . both the partners are worried about being caught or about landing  in a soup .

And then there are instances when they start suspecting  each other if he/she could do it with me she/he must have done it with others too . and this is the cause of many a marital discord --let me say that Indian society and specially the Indian male is still not mature enough to accept and adjust to pre marital sex by his / her partner the element of suspicion is always there ---like I said earlier if it could be with me it could have been with some one else the element of possessiveness is so strong that partners at times cannot tolerate the other talking to the opposite gender . Flimsy reasons like a partner's friends or colleagues cause the spouse to become jealous.

And moreover where is the charm in getting married if you have gone and indulged in all post marriage activities beforehand --where is the thrill the novelty .?

But all said and done it is a persons own choice.
